I haven't really blogged in a while...I guess I'll catch you all up on what's been going on. The house is coming along nicely, we had my parent's up a few weeks ago for dinner and drinks and good conversation. They seemed to really like what we'd done so far to the house in terms of decorating (which I didn't have a hand in at all...I'm not too creative. We had someone help us with that!). We're now looking into getting an invisible fence for the yard, so that the puppies don't run free and get lost. Rex and Murphy are both very free spirits and I don't want to stifle them...but I also don't want to lose them. I love them too much!
A few weeks ago while Jimmy was away for business I had Melissa, Heath and theirs girls up for a visit. It was nice. Murphy (Jimmy's daschund) tried to kill Coca Cola, Melissa and Heath's new puppy. She is a huntress, that one! She hunts mice outside of the house in Hot Springs and brings them to Jimmy like they're a fantastic prize. It's really funny. And Coca Cola kind of looks like a large mouse...so she was just following her instincts. But no damage was done, and I think we all learned a lesson about not letting Murphy near small animals.
I'm super excited because Jimmy and I are going to Europe next month! I'm so ready to go away with him and spend lots of time together. We see each other very often, but it never seems like enough. We're meeting his best friend Rob and his wife Alli over in London, then we'll go to Brussels, Belgium from there and end up in Amsterdam. It will be a week and a half of constant togetherness and I really can't wait. I'm really excited to experience new places with him. I went to Rome late last year with my company, but this trip will be so much different. That trip was awesome, and I loved everything about it. But I didn't have anyone special to share it with. This European extravaganza (just thought it was a funny phrase) will be much better. Yay!
So...Valentines Day was awesome. We had planned to celebrate on Tuesday, the 12th, because we wouldn't be able to see each other on the actual holiday. Well, I made dinner reservations at a place I knew Jimmy would love, and had everything planned so perfectly. Jimmy was flying in from Chicago from a meeting and was going to be here just in time to make our 8:00pm reservation time. So I got ready, took a shower, did my hair, and had my heels on ready to slip into my super awesome dress when he called and told me his plane was held up in St. Louis. I was very let down. I had planned for everything to be perfect and so special. Well he thought he might still be able to make it, so I moved the reservation to 8:30pm and hoped for everything to work out. It did not. I canceled the reservation at 8:15 and he called at 9:00 and asked where to meet me- he had finally landed. But I really was too late. The restaurant closed at 9:30 and I wasn't going to take him to a nice, 2-hour dinner and make all the wait-staff hang around for just us. So I rescheduled for the next night. I was really let down, but I really just wanted him to be home with me. So the next night, I come home from work, and he's there, waiting for me and looking so incredibly handsome. I don't know how it is, but every time I see that man he looks better than the time before. I walk into the house, and there is our chaise lounge that we ordered literally 8 weeks ago and it had finally come in and he had picked it up for me. It looks AMAZING! It's definitely not the color we ordered, but it it totally better so neither of us was complaining. On the lounge was a garment bag and inside of it was a beautiful black suit. Skirt, blazer and pants. I was so excited. I love those kind of clothes, and it's the way I need to dress at the office for what my company does. But it's just so super expensive so I don't really have any nice business suits. I was so happy. Then we go upstairs to get ready for our date, and there's another garment bag at the top of the stairs...this time it's a full beige suit...so nice. All this time I can't believe how spoiled I am by this man I love so much. Then I go into the bedroom, and there's another one! This one had three dress shirts in it. And then...I go into the bathroom and there's ANOTHER one! It has a grey suit in it. I couldn't believe how different I felt...I've never been surprised like that! It turns out that Jimmy had contacted The Limited about three weeks before, and asked them to set aside one of every single thing in my size that they had coming in that was part of their new business collection. He then went to the store and picked everything out himself. I love that he plans special things like that for me. Then we went to dinner at Aurthor's, probably the best steak restaurant in Little Rock, as well as the nicest. We had a great dinner, and when it was over Jimmy asked for the check, and the server informed him that I had already taken care of it. Jimmy said that was the first time a lady has ever bought him dinner. I find that hard to believe, since he's so amazing and all I want to do is make him happy. So it was a night full of happiness and love. By far the best Valentine's Day I've ever had.
Alright! This is the longest post ever! Maybe I'll try to post more often so I don't have to fit in so much information in one day!

Europe sounds like fun! And a great Valentine's day. But lets make one thing very clear...Jimmy has not yet met your favorite sister!! so he hasn't met your whole family. What is the hold up? I feel like you are keeping us apart! What's wrong? Do you think he won't like us or vica versa?
How romantic!!!
He must love you very much, how lucky is he to have found you?
