Oops

So I know I said in the previous blog (I still hate that word) that I'd write the other 3 things you don't know about me ASAP. That didn't work out, obviously. But here I am now...

4. My college roomate and I used to have kissing contests. No, not with eachother! With guys we knew, didn't know, we weren't picky. We would say things like, "I bet I can kiss more guys before the end of finals than you can". And then it would begin. Kissing in the cafeteria, outside of class, on the way to class, actually in class one time, at cross country practice (that was me...I got into a little trouble from my coach). We were so silly about it. I ususally won, which is nice. Back then I wouldn't hesitate to kiss anyone. I sometimes wonder where that craziness came from, I would never think of doing that now. I guess it was just college fun! We also were under the (very false) impression that if you kept your socks and shoes on, nothing really bad would happen. We were silly girls. I remember one time at Christmas, before finals, when we decided to get a Christmas tree and put it up in our dorm room. The one we got was so huge and thick that we literally couldn't see eachother. This came in handy when kissing time came around as well. More privacy. I feel kind of dirty telling this story...but it was so long ago.

5. I am in love with my dog. I know, this is supposed to be things you don't know about me. But if you do know me, you know I can't resist talking about him. He is my baby, my love, my little man. Rex is an amazing puppy. He's more like a human, though. He's so cuddly. Ever since I first got him when he was a baby (he fit in my hand) all I ever did was kiss and hug and spoil him. He is the sweetest dog ever. He even sleeps with his head on my pillow sometimes, like a real boy! I love him. He goes to Doggy Day Care at Chenal Pet Palace a few days a week so he can have play dates with his little friends. It's an awesome place. I just want him to be happy. I really don't know what I'd do without him. I don't want to think about it. But I have, because you have to have arrangements for that kind of thing. If he ever dies, I'm going to creamate him and wear him in a tiny urn around my neck. Ok maybe not wear him in an urn around my neck, but I'll do something special so he's always with me.

6. Last one...I wonder why it's so hard to think of things people don't know about me. Isn't that the point of people not knowing? So that they'll continue to not know? Well, I've always wanted to play with baby pigs. Pink pigs. Ever since I saw Charlotte's Web I've been obsessed with someday being in a pen of pigletts. It's been close to 20 years now. I just feel like I would love playing with some pigs. But not adult ones...I've heard they will eat people. I've heard that pigs will chew through bone at the rate of one pound per minute. I cannot risk that possibility! This is why I haven't done this yet. I'm a little scared.

Have you seen 'Hannible?' That movie is the reason that I will not get near pigs.

Hahaha...Hanibal I think had wild boars...still, definitely a reason not to get in a pen with adult pigs. I'm sure the babies are okay though.
I'm thrilled you liked the elf dancing. I did send it to Dad and Beverley...I think dad got a really big kick out of it.
